On January 30, Cardano successfully activated the "Plomin" hard fork upgrade on Wednesday, which allows ADA token holders to participate in Cardano's future decisions, including voting on treasury measures and hard forks. The core change of this upgrade is the full introduction of Delegate Representatives (dReps), who will vote on governance issues on behalf of ADA token holders. Previously, Cardano's governance was governed by the Cardano Foundation, Input Output Global (IOHK) and Emurgo.
Cardano's Plomin hard fork will go live later on Wednesday. The network will transition to fully decentralized governance. Conflux announced on X the completion of Confluxv 2.4.0 hard fork upgrade and activation of CIP-1559. Currently the network is stable, the latest network version is v2.4.0. CIP-136 will be enabled when the PoS Block Number reaches 1684080 (expected August 13), and other CIPs will be enabled when the Block Number reaches 247480,000 (expected August 13).
The Veld hard fork of the BNB Greenfield network will take place on July 8th at 07:00 AM UTC and will be updated simultaneously. The validator needs to be updated to Greenfield v1.8.0 and the SP needs to be updated to greenfield-storage-provider v1.8.0.
